Mr. E.(Elzie) V. Foster, 83, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. F. Staples 
on Cherry Street here Last Friday.  Complications and infirmities due to old age 
were the cause of his death.  He was born September 1, 1856.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Staples, and Mrs. Joe Groce, city; 
three sons, Messrs Herbert and Claud Foster, of Bowling Green, and 
Walter Foster of St. Louis Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Walter Blair, and a 
brother, Mr. C. M. Foster, both of Glasgow.

Funeral Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the family cemetery 
near Dugantown.
