Davis, Meredith, Miles Family Cemetery

Mammoth Cave National Park

in the Lincoln Community
Edmonson County, Kentucky

This is a relatively small cemetery in Edmonson County Kentucky located near the Lincoln community in Mammoth Cave National Park containing names: Davis, Miles, Meredith.. The cemetery stands in an open spot in a heavily wooded area, marked off by four old hand hewn American chestnut corner posts, and bounded on four sides by an old woven wire fence. Most graves are marked stones with only a few older sandstone markers near the center unmarked. There are several old home places due to evidence of  March lilies, and fallen chimney stones within a half mile of the cemetery, which likelihood were homes of some of the folks buried here.  Photos and transcription provided by Doris Dorsey and Edith Bastin
