Jaggers, Dugles

Sep. 3, 1882

Mar. 31, 1978

SSA: Myrtle Jaggers
Note by Jim Cave: The listing has Dugles Jaggers. Douglas Jaggers (3 Sep 1882-31 Mar 1978) married twice. First to Myrtle Bayne (1889-1918). Then to Stella Goldsmith. I see first wife Myrtle Jaggers on the Leitchfield list. Now the problem. I have a handwritten list (by my sister) of selected persons buried in Munfordville Municipal Cemetery. Among them are:
  Jaggers, Douglas Sept. 3, 1882-March 31, 1978
  Jaggers, Stella Nov 16, 1903-April 4, 1965 w. of Douglas

I wonder if Douglas marked a stone in Leitchfield Crossing for himself after his first wife died, and then later decided to bury Stella in Munfordville Cemetery where he too was subsequently buried? This way both lists would be "correct".

Jan. 07, 1889

Oct. 19, 1918

SSA: Dugles Jaggers -- Small Column -- “Darling We Miss Thee” -- W/o Dugles Jaggers;
Note by Jim Cave: The list has Myrtle Jaggers birth as 17 Jan 1889. Her death certificate says 7 Jan 1889. It also says Age: 29 years 9 mos 12 days. This would be consistent with a birth of 7 Jan 1889 and death 19 Oct 1918 which it has as death date.
