YOUNG CEMETERY

(AKA Taylor-Young and Tosh Cemetery)

Monroe , Hart County, Kentucky

 

 

LOCATION: At the intersection of Hwy 31E and Hwy 88 in Hardyville, turn East toward Monroe. Travel 6.5 miles to a dead end. Turn left and a very short distance ahead, a black barn sits almost on the roadway. Turn right between the barn and a small white house. The cemetery is at the end of the driveway and up a hill.

COMMENT:

(1) At various times this cemetery has been known by each or a combination of the names above. It is interesting that two areas in this cemetery are enclosed in separate iron fences; a third area is unfenced. May be more than one cemetery combined in one area.

(2) The Cook family listed herein was previously documented by K. B. Cook and listed in the Taylor-Young Cemetery.
