McCORKLE, DORIS FAE, 62, of Louisville, entered into rest on Monday, March 5, 2007 at her residence. She was retired from River Metals Recycling. Mrs. McCorkle was a native of Horse Cave, KY. She was preceded in rest by George and Lovie Green. Mrs. McCorkle is survived by a daughter, Mary Mann (Jack); two sons, Lee Mont McCorkle (Denise) and Doug McCorkle; five grandchildren, Samantha Wiedmar (Matthew), Jordan and Miller McCorkle, Jay and Jack Barnett; four sisters, Joyce Ford (Tom), Sandy Stark, Donna Hawkins and Jayne Green; and a brother, Dale Green (Brenda). Memorial services will be held at noon Friday at Hardy Funeral Home. Visiting will be from 1-8 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or WHAS Crusade for Children.
