Settles, was born Wednesday, November 12, 1930 in Marion County, Kentucky
and departed this life on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 in Louisville at his
residence. He was 75 years, 5 months of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Southeast
Christian Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served
in the Korean Conflict.
He united in marriage to Mary Davenport, who preceded him in death on
November 3, 1994. He later united in marriage on June 22, 1996 to Hazel M.
