Betty Jean King

 

HORSE CAVE - Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Jean King will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Cave City Cemetery.

 

Ms. King died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was 52.

 

The Barren County native was the daughter of the late John William Sr. and Lillian Green Poynter. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

 

Survivors include a son, John Poindexter of Glasgow; a daughter, Carol Dennison of Glasgow; four brothers: John William Poynter Jr. of Lawrenceburg, James Allen Willis of Bowling Green, Robert Young of Maryland and Raymond Young of Texas; a sister, Elsie Schrader of Cave City; six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be after 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel in Cave City until time of services at the cemetery.
