Edwards, 85, retired farmer of Fairview succumbs Harrison Sewell Edwards, 85, well known retired farmer of the Fairview Community died at 5:30 p.m. last Thursday at Samsom Community Hospital, Glasgow after a serious illness of a month. He had been in poor health for three years. Among survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Denton Edwards; four sons, Damon Edwards, Horse Cave, Charlie Edwards, Indianoplis, Willard Edwards, Glasgow, and Chester Edwards, Hardyville, two daughters; Mrs Cora Landrum and Mrs Lorena Lane both of Indianopolis; 16 grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and a number of neices and nephews. Also surviving are four brothers – Ezra Edwards, Indianoplis, Clay, Jessie and Walter B. Edwards, all of Hardyville R-2 and 3 sisters; Mrs Leona Durham, Lebanon, Indiana, Mrs Erma Meadows and Mrs Anna Larrimore both of Hardyville. The body rested at Winn Funeral Home until the funeral at 2 P.m. Saturday at Fairview Church of Christ, burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
