Irene H. Poston

POSTON, IRENE, 87, passed away Friday, January 11, 2008 at Parkway Rehab and Nursing Center. She was a retired employee of Louisville Water Company, a 50-year member of Southern Star Chapter #154, a devoted volunteer for Fairdale Area Community Ministries and a member of New Cut Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Clarence S. Poston. She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Reinstedler McDonald (Tony); brother, Robert Cash (Angela); sisters, Martha Kaylor, Alice Miller and Agnes Cook ( Berlin); five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A special thanks to the staff of the 5th floor at Parkway Rehab and Nursing Center, where she resided the last two and a half years, for their loving care. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fairdale McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
