SAMUEL LOUIS "SAM" BUCKNER

August 21, 1922 - October 13, 2005

Samuel Louis (Sam) Buckner age 83 of Horse Cave, formerly of Canmer, died Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Caverna Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Canmer, Ky., retired farmer, former manager of Caveland Country Club, Navy veteran of W.W.II, a member of Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church and loved fishing & gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Samuel R. & Virgie Pearl Moss Buckner, 1 son; Daniel, 1 daughter; Carol, 1 granddaughter; Jennifer Sutherland, 8 brothers & sisters.

VISITATION

Visitation: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home. 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Canmer with burial in the Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer. Under the direction of Winn Funeral Home.
