CURTIS ANDREW "C.A." ROMINES

December 19, 1921 - February 18, 2006

Curtis Andrew "C. A." Romines, age 84, of Canmer, KY passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. The Metcalfe County native was born on December 19, 1921. His parents were the late Lucian Elbert Romines and Martha Fields Romines. The World War II Army veteran was a member of Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church were he was an Elder for over 40 years. He was a farmer and was a former President for Hart County Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife Ruby (Estes) Romines of Canmer, KY; Two Sons: Sammy Romines and his wife Aluria of Lewisburg, KY; Jimmy Romines and his wife Carolyn Sue of Canmer, KY; One Sister: Lottie Fansler of Bowling Green, KY; Two Brothers: Arnold Romines of Bowling Green, KY and Ralph "Pete" Romines of Germantown, GA. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Margy Ann Cash.

Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM CST Monday, February 20, 2006 and at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST Tuesday, February 21, 2006. Funeral service will be at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 1:00 PM CST on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 with Bro. Nolan Hensley and Bro. George Sprague officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer, KY.
