William Glenn Creek 83 of Glasgow died Monday, March 8, 2010 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Fountain Run, KY the son of the late Joe Asbury Creek and Betty Brown Creek.

He had lived in Indianapolis for 37 years and was retired from Inland Container Co. in Indianapolis after 34 years of service. He had lived in Glasgow since 1982. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church at Flippin, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Pitcock Creek; a sister Catherine Gosnell of Scottsville, KY, a Godchild Martha Creek of Louisville and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Ruby Gumm Smith and Marie Calvert and a brother Joe Hugh Creek.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Neal Cemetery at Flippin. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00am until time for the service.
