Phyllis May Isenberg

Phyllis May Isenberg, 62 years old of Lafayette, died Friday, May 30, 2008 in St. Mary Healthcare Center.

She was born April 18, 1946 in Lafayette, daughter of the late Carl "Whitey" and Martha Minnear Halsema.

Phyllis married Royce G. Isenberg on September 22, 1967 in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2005.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Phyllis enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.She had worked as a housekeeper for St. Elizabeth for 27 years.

Surviving are her mother, Martha Halsema; a daughter, Melinda Isenberg; and 3 sons, Royce Kevin Isenberg, Craig John Isenberg, and Ryan Joseph Isenberg, all of Lafayette; one brother Al Holsema wife Mary Carol; one sister Sharon Baden and her companion Chuck Marshall; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Friends will be received Sunday, June 1st from 4-8 p.m. at the Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel, Lafayette. Services will be held at Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel, Monday, June 2, 2008 at 12:00 p.m., with Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating.

Interment will follow in the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
