Imogene E. Isenberg, 72, of Bowling Green died at 9 a.m. June 7, 2007, at Greenview Regional Hospital. She was born at Mammoth Cave National Park on March 2, 1935. She was a retired bookkeeper at Beech Bend Park, a Baptist, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend and enjoyed working with crafts. She was a daughter of the late Roe Esters and Ora Skaggs Esters and the wife of the late Edwin “Ed” Isenberg, who died Sept. 26, 1988. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Isenberg; three brothers, Arvel, Arnold and Leon Esters; a sister, Alene Toms; and a stepmother, Mary Esters. Funeral is at 10 a.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
