John Howard Logsdon – PARK CITY

John Howard Logsdon, 75, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, at his residence.

The Edmonson County native was a retired teacher for the Barren County School system and an Army veteran of the Korean
Conflict. Mr. Logsdon was a deacon and trustee at Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church, a 32nd degree Mason with the Cave
city Lodge #790 F&AM and belonged to several other community-based organizations.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta Turley Logsdon of Park City; one daughter: Johnie Maria Westcott and husband Mike of
Park City; one brother: Chasteen H. “Doc” Logsdon of Mammoth Cave; two sisters: Inez Fryer of Louisville, and Mary Overfelt
of Hardyville; three grandchildren: Brooke Westcott and Matthew Westcott of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Jill Westcott of
Bowling Green.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel, with burial and graveside
military services on the Logsdon family farm. Masonic services

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today, and 9 until 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
