The Wigwam Villages were the creation of Frank A. Redford.  #1 was completed at Horse Cave in 1935 and Frank patented the design in 1936.

He built #2 in Cave City in 1937 and 5 more later in Alabama, Louisana, California and Arizona.

Only two remain in operation, #2 at Cave City and #6 in Arizona.

Eleven tons of steel and 37 tons of cement stucco used in the construction.  15 attractive sleeping wigwams surround same to complete a modern Indian Village.
